DMCA & Copyright Removal Policy
Last updated: 17 May 2026
Movie OTT (movieott.com) is operated by Choice Network. We aggregate streaming availability information and embed YouTube videos from a curated whitelist of rights-holders and licensed distributors. We do not host any video files ourselves. All video playback is served by YouTube's servers (Google LLC).
We take copyright extremely seriously. If you are a rights-holder and believe that content embedded on our site infringes your copyright, we will remove the embed within 24 business hours of receiving a valid notice and permanently block the source channel from future inclusion.
How to submit a takedown notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] containing all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, registration number if applicable, theatrical release year).
- The specific URL(s) on movieott.com where the allegedly infringing embed appears.
- The YouTube video URL of the embedded content (we need this to identify and remove the source).
- Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt within 1 business day.
- The embed is removed from movieott.com within 24 business hours of receipt.
- The source YouTube channel is added to our permanent blacklist so it cannot be re-included by any future automated backfill.
- We forward your notice to YouTube's Content ID / DMCA system so the root upload is also removed from their platform.
Ongoing anti-piracy enforcement
Need more than one-off takedowns? Our sister company Antipiracy Hub runs two services tailored to different rights-holder profiles:
For YouTube channel owners — Content ID + cross-platform takedowns
If you have a YouTube channel hosting your own catalogue (Bollywood studios, regional producers, K-drama distributors, anime licensors), Content ID is where the money is. We submit your reference files to YouTube's Content ID system, then auto-monetize every match — re-uploaders' ad revenue flows back to you instead. We also handle DMCA for low-resolution copies that Content ID's matching engine misses, plus cross-platform takedowns on Telegram, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and 60+ piracy sites.
Typical results: 15-25% YouTube ad revenue lift, 70-85% reduction in unauthorised re-uploads in 90 days. Pricing starts at $99/month.
For OTT platforms + new theatrical/digital releases — full pre-release leak monitoring
New releases are different — within 24-72 hours of a theatrical or streaming debut, leaked rips appear on Telegram channels, Discord servers, torrent sites, and IPTV aggregators. Content ID alone can't reach those. For OTT platforms and new releases, we monitor those channels in real-time, file takedowns within hours of detection, and track repeat infringers across burner accounts. Custom pricing — typically $499-$2,499/month depending on release schedule.
Either service, learn more at antipiracyhub.com → or request a free scan via the partner form (tick the anti-piracy box).
For rights-holders who WANT their content on Movie OTT
We're actively expanding our whitelist of rights-holders. If you own or are licensed to distribute a catalogue of films on YouTube and would like your channel added so your titles surface to our audience (with full attribution and direct “Watch on YouTube” links), contact [email protected] with your channel ID and a description of your catalogue.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with identification of the removed material, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat infringers
Channels that have been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices are permanently blacklisted from our embed pool.
