1. Information we collect
Movie OTT operates as a movie aggregator and indexing service. Browsing the directory does not require an account. We may collect non-personal information such as browser type, device info, approximate region (country / state level for content availability), and which OTT platform links you click, for analytics and service optimisation.
2. Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies for region preferences and language selection, and third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Google AdSense) which set their own cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser; some non-essential features may not work.
3. OTT redirections
Our service provides deep links to official streaming platforms (e.g. Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube). When you click these links, you are redirected to third-party sites. Movie OTT is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external platforms.
4. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements on certain pages. These third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites.
5. Data retention
Analytics data is retained for the period set by the analytics provider (typically 14 to 26 months). Region and language preferences are stored only in your browser and are removed when you clear cookies. We do not sell user data.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable laws, you may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and may withdraw consent for processing where applicable. Send such requests to the Grievance Officer (Section 8 below).
7. Children’s privacy
Movie OTT is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal data should contact the Grievance Officer for prompt removal.
