The story of Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation
By 1992, the original Revenge of the Nerds had become a genuine cultural touchstone — two films deep, with a devoted fanbase that'd grown up alongside Lewis Skolnick and his misfit crew. The third installment picks up in a world where the nerds have actually won. They're in control of the university now, the legacy of the first two films playing out in real time. But victory, as it turns out, doesn't last forever. A fresh wave of sportsmen arrive on campus, hungry to reclaim what they see as their rightful place, and they've got an unlikely ally: the principal himself, an ex-nerd fighter with scores to settle. The nerds find themselves knocked back down the social ladder. What follows is a call to arms — Harold Skolnick, nephew of the legendary Lewis, needs help from his uncle and the old guard to wage one final battle using all the tricks that made them legendary in the first place.
