Andrea Perroni

Perroni's entry point into professional entertainment was *Domenica in*, the RAI variety institution, where he appeared as an imitator starting in 2003. It's the kind of show where you learn to read a live audience fast — no retakes, no editing safety net. By 2005 he'd moved into the *Colorado Cafè Live* orbit, a comedy program that functioned as a launching pad for a generation of Italian stand-ups and character performers. His Sandro Piccinini impression landed well enough to follow him out of that context and into broader recognition. That same year, 2005, he appeared in *Il ritorno del Monnezza* as Franchino — a film built around the beloved Roman crime-comedy character originally played by Tomas Milian. Getting cast in that kind of culturally loaded project, even in a supporting role, isn't nothing. The years that followed brought television work: seven episodes of *I Cesaroni* in 2008 (a family drama series with a devoted Italian audience), a single episode of *Saturday Night Live from Milano* in 2010, and then the voice cast of *Gli sgommati*, the animated political satire that ran from 2011 to 2013. Voice work. Live comedy. Scripted drama. He wasn't locking himself into one lane. The 2015 film *Tutte lo vogliono* gave him the role of Marco, and a decade later he's back on cinema screens with *Dove osano le cicogne* (2025), playing a character named Andrea — which may or may not be a coincidence worth reading into. His live show *Meglio dal vivo* runs concurrently, a reminder that for Perroni, the stage has never really been secondary to the screen.
