Philipp's professional screen career stretches back to at least 1997, when she appeared in Die Kids von Berlin — a starting point that puts her early work squarely in the post-reunification moment of German television, a period when the industry was recalibrating its identity fast. Her first major recurring role came with Tatort, the long-running ARD crime series that functions almost as a national institution in Germany. On the film side, her two most internationally visible credits came in quick succession.
