He directed the sequel in 2016 with the same producing partner, Dimitri Rassam, a collaboration that has continued through every major project since (TMDB). *Eiffel* (2021) marked a tonal shift toward prestige biopic territory, and then came the *Les Trois Mousquetaires* diptych — *D'Artagnan* and *Milady*, both released in 2023 — which drew over six million French viewers and cemented his reputation as someone who can handle large-scale, effects-driven productions without losing the audience (Wikipedia).
