Oh Min-ae's career stretches back far enough to include Memento Mori (1999), the Korean horror film co-directed by Kim Tae-yong and Min Kyu-dong that's since become something of a touchstone for fans of that era's genre output. That early film credit matters — it places her in a period of Korean cinema that was genuinely experimenting with form, before the global wave that would follow in the 2000s. The drama work is where she's probably accumulated the most recognition among general audiences.
