Swaroopa Ghosh

Swaroopa Ghosh is an Indian actress whose career doesn't fit neatly into any single box — she's a theater veteran, a character actor, and increasingly a familiar face across both prestige Bollywood productions and streaming series. What's striking is how she built her reputation almost entirely from the ground up, starting in Kolkata theater at 16 before making her way to Delhi's National School of Drama (NSD) Rep company, where she trained under the legendary Ebrahim Alkazi at Living Theatre (IMDb). That foundation — over 30 stage productions and a META award for best actress — is the kind of thing that doesn't always show up in a film's credits, but you can feel it in her performances.

On screen, she's been part of some of the more talked-about Hindi films of the last decade.
